It’s not every day you get to work with someone who loves God and has bitten into a reindeer heart. Lucky for the cast…Now they have. (And no, we don’t mean Dallas Jenkins.)

We’re talking about Bear Grylls: Husband, father, adventurer, and host of our new series.

The Chosen In The Wild follows the cast as they take on challenges across forests, deserts, and canyons. Jonathan Roumie (Jesus), Paras Patel (Matthew), Elizabeth Tabish (Mary Magdalene), Noah James (Andrew), Luke Dimyan (Judas), and Dallas Jenkins join Bear as he leads them through Utah’s treacherous Castle Valley, Canyonlands, the Ausable River, the Colorado River, the Great Basin Desert, and the Adirondack Forest.

They’ll cross rivers, rappel from high places, and eat things with way too many legs. We hope you feel the same heart-pounding, faith-forming sense of adventure when you watch their experience unfold on your screens…a safe distance from anything with too many legs.

We’ve been teasing it for a while, and now we’re excited to finally announce that The Chosen Adventures premieres October 17 on Prime Video. The best part? All 14 episodes release the same day—so you’d better have your comfy pants and pita chips ready.

This Prime Video Original Series takes us back to the world of The Chosen, but this time, things look a bit different: Everyone’s animated. There’s a talking sheep named Sheep (Well done, writers). And the stories are told through the eyes of two nine-year-olds, Abby and Joshua.

You first saw these adorable troublemakers back in Season 1, Episode Three, when they met and learned from Jesus. Now, we get to follow them—and their animal sidekicks—as they take on new adventures, befriend a wannabe centurion-in-training, and absorb even more powerful lessons from the world’s greatest Teacher.

After the episodes premiere on Prime Video, we’ll also be releasing them on YouTube starting later this year. And if you just can’t wait to dive into these adventures, we’ve got good news. Dallas shared an exclusive new clip in the livestream below:

It’s time for Torah, tunics, and a whole lot of teal as you and the rest of the Chosen family gather from around the world.
